Heating Tips

Have your system inspected and serviced by a qualified heating contractor prior to the begining of each heating season.

 Keep your thermostat at the lowest comfortable setting. You can save about 3 percent of your heating costs for every degree you lower your thermostat during the winter.

 If you don't have a programable thermostat, consider getting one. These easy to use "smart" thermostats can change your home's temerature up to four times a day.

 Add a humidifier to your system to give you greater comfort at a lower temperature setting.

 Clean or replace your filters regularly. This should be done at least once a month during peak winter usage.
